Sophia’s Festive Pull-Apart Dessert

My pull-apart dessert is the easiest, tastiest, sharable treat you must make the next time you host or bring something to a party. This recipe is only 3 ingredients (crescent roll dough, Nutella, and an egg) and takes less than 30 minutes to make. Best of all, it is shaped like a Christmas tree so it is perfect for the holiday season. Although I don’t personally celebrate Christmas, I still appreciate a festive and fun-shaped dessert. So seriously, stop reading and head to the store to get your 3 ingredients and bake this. Like right now! :)

Sophia’s Festive Pull-Apart Dessert

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans Pillsbury Orginal Crescent Roll Dough (8 oz each)
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Unroll your first crescent roll dough and seal the outlines. Cut into a large triangle. Repeat with the second crescent roll dough and set one triangle aside.
  3. Spread an even layer of Nutella over the one layer of dough.
  4. Cover the Nutella layer with the second layer of dough.
  5. Cut slices into each side of the dough about an inch wide and leaving an inch of thickness in the middle of the dough.
  6. Twist each of the cut pieces a few times.
  7. Brush the entire dough with egg wash and bake for 10–15 minutes.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

The Steps below will show you how I make the dessert.

Roll out the dough and seal any cracks or outlines.
Cut into a triangle
Remove excess and repeat with the second layer of dough.
Spread an even layer of Nutella on the dough.
Cover with the top layer of dough.
Cut the sides the triangle into inch thick pieces. Use the above picture for reference.
Twist the pieces.
Brush with egg wash.
Bake for 10–15 minutes or until golden.
It should look golden and delicious when fully cooked.
