Sophia’s Heavenly Blondies
Ingredients:
- 2 ¼ cup light or dark brown sugar (1 box of brown sugar)
- 2 sticks of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 ½ cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup chocolate chips or any other mix-ins (optional)
- nonstick cooking spray or parchment paper
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Melt the butter and sugar together until they are fully combined.
- In a bowl or measuring cup, slightly beat the eggs and vanilla.
- Pour the egg mixture into the brown sugar and butter.
- Sift in the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Stir until smooth and there are no lumps.
- Add chocolate chips and/or any other mix-ins.
- Grease a 13x9 baking dish with parchment paper, butter, or baking spray
- Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes. Baking times may vary depending on your oven.
- Cool completely and cut into bars.
